Can my phone use Find Hub remembered items?

Remembered items lets Gemini save where you placed physical things — for example a passport, spare key or tool — in Find Hub. It is not the same as live Bluetooth tracker location.

What the feature does

Google’s Help page describes remembered items as a manual memory layer for physical items. You can tell Gemini where an item is, add a storage spot or address, then later ask Gemini where you put it or browse the Remembered tab in Find Hub.

What the feature does not do

Remembered items does not turn an untagged object into a live tracker. If the object moves after you save its location, Find Hub does not magically follow it. Update the remembered location when the item moves.

The setup requirements that cause most failures

Google explicitly requires Android 16 or later, both Find Hub and Gemini installed, the same Google Account in both apps, and Gemini set as the device’s default digital assistant. Country availability matters because the Android Drop ties the feature to places where Gemini and Find Hub are supported.

How to verify it

Open Find Hub and look for the Remembered tab. You can also ask Gemini to “remember in Find Hub” where you placed an item. If your setup matches the published requirements but the tab is missing, update both apps and Google Play services before treating the device as incompatible.
